I’m back in Dubai after almost 5 months away in the UK; the weather’s beautiful and it feels like a holiday. I know it won’t last long, but I’m enjoying it while it does! It is strange though, going from cold, autumn weather with all the golden colours to the warm summer weather here. And the disappearance of Christmas decorations everywhere too – very odd.

On a different note, I’ve just completed my first triathlon! It wasn’t too bad, but I’m very bruised now, and have found out that I have a great weakness in cycling… It just doesn’t seem to go as well as the others. So, that’s my next challenge I guess then, improving my skills at riding a bike. Back to the gym tomorrow, despite being very fit at the moment I know I still have a long way to go before Everest. But all is looking good for now, and I’ll keep you posted on any more news.
